About Susan Teare

Susan Teare is a dedicated professional photographer who lives in Vermont with her family.  Susan's clients range from leading architectural and design firms, to some of the finest builders and craftsmen throughout New England.  Susan's photographs are characterized by her innovative use of natural light and careful attention to each client's specific needs.

The artistic elements of her photographs have been attributed to her extensive background and education in the visual arts and art history.  With more than twenty years of marketing experience, Susan takes photographs that portray her clients' work in the most effective and creative ways.

Susan is a contributing photographer to SKI Magazine, Fine Homebuilding, Custom Home Magazine, Vermont Magazine, Timber Home Living and Timber Homes Illustrated.  She currently locates and publishes homes with Karin Lidbeck-Brent, field editor for many national publications including Better Homes & Gardens, Beautiful Homes, Country Living, and Cottage Living. 

A 1987 graduate of Bowdoin College with a B.A. in Art History, Susan continues to pursue her passion for art by showing her photographs and monoprints in galleries and public locations throughout New England.
